This place is great. I read a lot of reviews that took stars off due to the "kitchen appreciation" fee, but I think that if you read the reviews before going in, you know it'll be there. Most people are going to tip on their bill anyway, so I don't have an issue with where that goes. Food came out quickly, our wait staff was extremely pleasant, and it was a fun atmosphere. Overall, good portion sizes.

This place was super cute & pretty good food! Getting on the wait list online is the way to go for a late Sunday morning brunch. The Great - The Benedict I got with pork belly & collard greens was so good. The Good: The place had a great vibe. Thr bad: the restrooms & floors were filthy The ugly: the surcharge for the kitchen staff. Just raise your prices & stop with the hidden fees! Just passing through Denver and came upon this place on yelp. Did not disappoint:)

Check in, there's a wait and the wait is worth it. We had really good service and the food was superb. The bacon grit balls were just okay. I personally wouldn't order them again. The kale salad plus chicken was really flavorful. My sister agreed about the grit balls, but really enjoyed the Benedict she ordered. The kitchen appreciation tax is questionable. It is noted on the menu, I just missed it. I don't know what was happening in the bathroom, but it was seriously neglected. Overall was a tasty place to stop for brunch!

I don't know about you, but I think about eating more often as an adult than I ever did as a kid. Discovered this hidden gem in my soon to be new neighborhood. Love the quaintness. Staff is super sweet and friendly. It gets jammed packed here on weekends unless you can make it out early enough with bedhead and hungry appetite. Great seating for the bar welcoming you with cool chairs. Communal tables available if you want to opt out of waiting, just be prepared to be friendly. There is also an upstairs area for additional seating. When busy, can get pretty cozy next to your neighbors but hey who doesn't like meeting new peeps?!! Modern, relaxing and calm atmosphere when not jam packed. Strong, bold coffee like the babe. It's one way to wake me up. Had me at beignets and French toast, add a side of bacon and results in one very happy girl. The accompanying sauces are perfect blend of creaminess and fruity compote. They do have some gluten free options like the pancakes. I didn't try the grits or the biscuits and gravy even though those are Southern staples. Will be back when it's not a crazy holiday weekend outing. Overall, my transformation into a happy well fed woman is complete here. Great spot and would be back for another dose of their charm.
